Paolucci as a charter in the Mediterranean sea
A blazoned chef for the preparation of food, a butler ready to fulfil any wish, a personal trainer to stay fit, yoga sessions for the soul, a professional masseur to indulge in relax, qualified hostesses and referenced baby sitters, a highly professional crew trained to easily glide over the water of the Mediterranean sea and live at the fullest the Paolucci dream.
These are a few of the services offered on board the Lady of the Seas: the Paolucci Motor Yacht. The ship is entirely made of wood and was built in 1970 at the historical shipyard Picchiotti in Viareggio (Italy). It was originally commissioned by the Italian Navy and after that it became the official ship of the Presidency of the Italian Republic. Now it will soon be available as a charter for exclusive cruises all over the Mediterranean, starting June 2010.
After painstaking refitting works that lasted three years, preserving the original materials while achieving high performance and design, the Paolucci is now able to offer the highest comfort on board coupled with the fascination of sailing a real piece of Italian history.
“The aim is offering a 100% custom-made service on board, addressing in an exclusive way each client,” remarks Carlo Tettamanzi, Captain of the Paolucci, who, together with the ship owner, has personally overseen the fine restoration works, adding: “We want to offer our clients a unique travelling experience, in total relax and pampered by the experience of the captain and ship crew.”
The Motor Yacht is 30-meter-long and can accommodate up to 10 people in the three double VIP cabins, the master cabin located in the under-deck and the guest cabin with twin beds. All cabins are equipped with en-suite bathrooms, AC and B&O audio and video system. A large hall opens out astern into the open-sky sitting room along with a bow bright dining room in the upperdeck. These are characterized by essential-design furniture made in natural materials that reveal style and practicality.
Utmost care has been taken in fitting outdoor spaces: two 80-sqm large solariums - one astern and one on the flybridge - furnished with special sofas with draining stuffing to enjoy full relax on the sea. Many sports and activities can be done on board the Paolucci. The sport equipment includes jet skis, wind surf, wakeboard, the outfit for snorkelling, underwater fishing, fishing and of course two tenders are also available to reach small bays and to disembark.
