Riparian, marine revolution
Young American designer Adam Voorhees has designed what he describes as a “transformable” motoryacht. Riparian stretches 125 metres in length and 30.5 in the beam. She will hit a top speed of 50 knots and cruise at 30. She’ll have no less than seven decks and a truly revolutionary structure.
A catamaran, she’ll sport modular covering and shelter systems which can be modified to suit changing needs and tastes. Her superstructure can be modified to cope with an wide range of climatic conditions. The interior volumes too can be modulated using sliding bulkheads and transparent surfaces. The hulls and bows too are adaptable to the sea conditions. The interiors are quite theatrical too.
