Costa chooses the Emirates

This winter Costa Crociere, which along with its German parent company Aida Cruises has been pioneer in the Arab Emirates since 2006, has gained the leading position, bringing four megaships to its home port of Dubai and the other Gulf destinations.

It has chosen this new tourism hotspot for the naming of the new Costa Deliziosa, joining its twin, the Costa Luminosa, the older Costa Europa and the German AidaDiva. This fleet will carry 140.000 passengers, mostly European, into the region, creating an economic impact of 14 milion euro. A typical itinerary for the Genoa-based company’s ships includes a two-day stay in Dubai and a route visiting Muscat, Fujairah, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain – all in the space of a week!
